HACK AND CONFIGURE YOUR MODEM: PRACTICAL GUIDE

Hello my reader, yeah you am talking to you, yes you!!! do you know
you can actually hack your modem? (i.e. the one owned by a network
+Mtn+ +Airtel+ +Glo+ +Etisalat+) to become universal (i.e. accept all
networks).  Yes!!!  these network providers protect their modems
against accepting any other network apart from theirs. They actually
mandate the manufacturers of these modems (e.g. ZTE, HUAWEI etc) to
assign a pin to the modems. The pins are peculiar to each modem as its

Imei, and usually they allow only ten wrong entries after which the
modem is blocked indefinitely. That also can be extended or removed
but I will write about it in another tutorial. You only require this
pin to unlock your modem, but you have to be careful because after ten
wrong entries your modem is BLOCKED, unless you wish to unlock it
which is another long story. Pay attention as I lead you through this
guide on how to hack your modem without even any application. All you
need is
•       Your modem
•       Any other simcard from another network
•       The unlock pin (NOTE: You will get this from me, just send me an
email with the subject ‘UNLOCK PIN REQUEST’ and then write the NAME,
MODEL, and IMEI of the modem…….. its free for now!!!  I will promptly
reply with the pin of your modem within 48HOURS)
•       Your laptop/ desktop. And you are ready to go.

HACKING
Insert a simcard of another network that is the network of your modem
(e.g. insert Glo sim into an Etisalat modem), then plug in the modem
into any Usb port of the laptop or desktop and allow it to be
automatically installed, after successful installation it brings up a
menu telling your to enter the pin, if it did not appear, go to
CONTROL PANEL >DEVICES AND PRINTERS and double click on the modem., it
will bring up the ‘enter your pin menu’ click on the and enter the pin
I sent to you, if it is successful, it will take your to the main
–page of the modem menu. Then the next thing is configuration

CONFIGURATION

Once you have hacked your modem it can accept all networks but unless
you configure it, it cannot browse with them. To configure the modem
click on TOOLS > OPTIONS > PROFILE MANAGEMENT look for ‘New’ button on
the right side of the page then write the following separately and
save them separately.
FOR MTN:
NAME: Mtn Internet
ACCESS POINT NAME (APN): web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
ACCESS NUMBER/ DIAL UP NUMBER: *99#
USERNAME: --blank--
PASSWORD: --blank

FOR GLO:
NAME: Glo Internet
ACCESS POINT NAME (APN): glosecure
ACCESS NUMBER/ DIAL UP NUMBER: *99#
USERNAME: --blank—
PASSWORD: --blank—

FOR ETISALAT:
NAME: Etisalat Internet
ACCESS POINT NAME (APN): etisalat
ACCESS NUMBER/ DIAL UP NUMBER: *99#
USERNAME: --blank—
PASSWORD: --blank—

FOR AIRTEL:
NAME: Airtel Internet
ACCESS POINT NAME (APN): internet.ng.airtel.com
ACCESS NUMBER/ DIAL UP NUMBER: *99#
USERNAME: --blank—
PASSWORD: --blank—

NOTE: You have to enter the configuration of any net work you wish to
browse with except the DEFAULT i.e. the network of the modem.
If you entered the above successfully and correctly then you are good
to go. Come back (TOOLS > OPTIONS > PROFILE MANAGEMENT) and select the
appropriate PROFILE NAME (it must be the network of the on in the
modem) and click OK. Surf and surf and surf the web with your now
universal modem.
